What's in My Hospital Bag?!

**This blog post contains affiliate links. You aren't obligated to click them, but if you do, it gets me a little something-something.** During our hospital stay for having our baby, I wanted to be a minimalist when it came to packing our hospital bag. My plan was to pack only what I need to get through the three-ish days that I will be in the hospital before taking the 5-minute drive up the street to our house to take our little one home. Upon looking at list suggestions of what to pack, since I am a first-time mom, nearly every list I saw online had things that seemed pointless to me... items like makeup made my eyebrows raise. For real? Girl, you just pushed a human out of your body... do you really have to look Instagram ready while you're recovering in your oversized underwear with a pad as big as a mattress? I didn't think so. Speaking of those, I plan on purchasing these bad boys  (click to see) to wear for the 4-6 weeks following the delivery date. The Obvious ...

Managing Weight & Preventing Stretch Marks

**Some links in this blog are affiliate links -- just so you know.** If you read the  "How I Found Out I Was Pregnant" story, or seen the  YouTube video that goes along with it , you'll know that I found out because I broke out in hives. Part of my treatment was an extremely aggressive course of steroids. I started at 60mg (20mg three times a day) and after nearly three months, was finally off of them. **Let me start this review by saying that I received these chews complimentary of Chewy and Influenster .** I was pretty excited about this VoxBox being for my dogs. Zane (our corgi/border collie mix) has some heinous breath and a little plaque buildup on his teeth. He does get his teeth brushed when we take him and Sully (our shepherd/husky mix) to the groomers every 3 months, but that's about it. This VoxBox from Influenster and Chewy was the Frontline Oral Defense Daily Chews.  We have two dogs. I gave both dogs chews but primarily gave them to Zane so I had more data to go on -- four days wouldn't have been enough for me to tell a difference or make an educated analysis of how well this product works.  Zane patiently waiting for his daily treat. First thing I noticed about these treats is they smell WONDERFUL for them being a dog treat. It almost smells like a vanilla frosting. Zane is a peculiar dog. He likes treats, but most of the time he will just pick at it, ...
