**Let me start this review by saying that I received these chews complimentary of Chewy and Influenster.**
I was pretty excited about this VoxBox being for my dogs. Zane (our corgi/border collie mix) has some heinous breath and a little plaque buildup on his teeth. He does get his teeth brushed when we take him and Sully (our shepherd/husky mix) to the groomers every 3 months, but that's about it.
This VoxBox from Influenster and Chewy was the Frontline Oral Defense Daily Chews. We have two dogs. I gave both dogs chews but primarily gave them to Zane so I had more data to go on -- four days wouldn't have been enough for me to tell a difference or make an educated analysis of how well this product works.

Zane patiently waiting for his daily treat. |
First thing I noticed about these treats is they smell WONDERFUL for them being a dog treat. It almost smells like a vanilla frosting. Zane is a peculiar dog. He likes treats, but most of the time he will just pick at it, and eventually, Sully will come and take it. These treats, however, he practically inhales and they are gone fast. Zane looks forward to his daily treat and starts doing the typical tricks I ask of him before I even get the treat out.

Zane's teeth aren't terrible for an 8-year-old dog. Still, I wanted to take basically a "before" shot of his teeth. |
 |
Slowly I saw some progress, like in his back teeth -- not so much in the front. This is after three days of just the treats. |
 |
The last day. I can see a difference, but mostly on his right side -- the side he seems to favor when he eats. |
On the last day, I brushed his teeth with some baking soda and a toothbrush -- after he had his chewy. After looking in his mouth every day, it was apparent that just the treats alone weren't going to break up some of this mess in his mouth. He also favors one side of his mouth when eating, so only that side seemed to be reaping the benefits of the chews rather than the other.
The chews helped break up some of the plaque/tarter/whatever else built up on his teeth over time. I think if there was more time to be used on them, my dog wouldn't need to do much else with his teeth. In general, I like the product for my dog's teeth. It did help a little bit with his breath but... not that much. It's still pretty stinky. If this was something I used continuously -- more than 7 days -- I think it would help more.
