Alzheimer's Awareness Month is in November. 
I wrote this paper about 18 months ago. I created this video in October 2019 to go live in November.
This is my Nana, Berniece. She had Alzheimer's. In my research on Alzheimer's I came across multiple articles showing how traumatic events could lead to dementia (an umbrella term which Alzheimer's falls under, along with other forms like vascular dementia). Nana had a plethora of things happen to her, so I began talking to my mom, and other family members to figure out Nana's life prior to her diagnosis.
