Kate Somerville: ExfoliKate Line
This is going to be my first product review via all my social media; here on my Blog/Facebook/YouTube and even a little blurb on my Instagram.
For years I have bounced between ProActiv (and the recently "new and improved" ProActiv+), Neutrogena, Clean & Clear and even just plain old soap for my acne. My ance isn't as bad as some people...I will say that. But occasionally (usually when I'm PMSing... sorry boys who read this but at true!) I get these mountains on my face and it's not cute.
My face is naturally really really oily. I also wear a face mask quite often when I am at work and I am making IVs. With the face mask my skin around my mouth, over my nose and surrounding areas, don't get this much room to breathe...thus clogging up my pores and making my skin look even worse and causes more breakouts.
I wanted to try this line to see if it can really help my skin. Now before I go on: this blog/any near future blogs or in the near future YouTube videos are NOT sponsored. This is something I am doing with my own time and as a service to those who may not have heard of Kate Somerville (like myself...until a couple weeks ago) and are looking for something for their skincare routine.
This is not my review blog, but this is how I got the product and when you can expect a full review:
So I joined this app called Influenster. It's free to use and basically, all you do is write reviews for things. In return, they send you great deals and if I remember correctly you can get a free product as long as you leave a review when you fill out certain snaps.
I got an email about Kate Somerville having an awesome sale: "free gift when you make a purchase online!" It didn't specify how much, so I sorted through lease expensive to most expensive. The least expensive thing was the EradiKate Ance Treatment (picture below) for $26. I figured, why not? I need something to get my acne under control, I'll give it a shot.
The free product (which is a $63 value by the way) were three products from her ExfoliKate line. A cleanser, an exfoliant, and a moisturizer.
On top of the free product, I was also given the opportunity to pick three testers of anything in the store. I got sample packs of the cleanser and the moisturizer and then an oil-free moisturizer. Maybe I'll use those in a giveaway or something. I don't know but they were handy to be able to get as a bonus.
I wanted to be able to give a good review, so I am using nothing but these products for at least a week (maybe two) and then I will have a full review here and on my YouTube channel. So check back and if a give away for these little sample things sounds like a good idea then leave a comment.
